Leadership Fort Worth Announces New Officers, Board Members

FORT WORTH, TX –  Leadership Fort Worth announced its officers and board members for 2013-2014 at its Annual Meeting on June 13.

New officers are President Mark Drennan, Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending for Bank of Texas; President-Elect Mark Dabney, Associate Principal of Bennett Benner Pettit Architects and Planners; and Treasurer Robert Allen, of J. Taylor & Associates.  Gina Smith, Organizational Development Manager at Freese and Nichols Inc., is Past President.

New board members are Scott Donaldson, April Young, Ramon Guajardo Jr., and Tennessee Walker.  Board shadow is Courtney Sanders.

Returning board members are: John Gonzales, Colby Walton, Janet Hahn, Curvie Hawkins, Chris Moranetz, Rachel Navejar, Drenda Witt, Gyna Bivens, Cayla Cromar, Carlos de la Torre, Tom McCraw, Kevin Strawser and Jared Cobb.

The purpose of Leadership Fort Worth (LFW) is to provide Fort Worth with diverse and enlightened leadership. Founded in 1972, LFW is based on the concept of community trusteeship. This concept challenges leaders to function as trustees, committing themselves to making their communities better places to live. LFW is four-fold including two adult leadership development programs, a program for 8th graders, and continuing education for the full membership.
